Dr. Keith Pawlish is the proud owner of Accuvision Eye Care OD, PA. Dr. Pawlish graduated from Winthrop University with his B.S. in Chemistry. He was a starting pitcher for the Winthrop Eagles top 25 baseball team in 2000-2001.
After Winthrop, he received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2006 finishing second in his class. While in optometry school, Dr. Pawlish joined the United States Navy through one of the scholarships programs.
Immediately following graduation, he was stationed at Marine Corps Base-Camp Lejeune as a Lieutenant. During his service, he was an eye doctor for the Marine soldiers and pilots. Dr. Pawlish was also selected to play softball for the all-Marine softball team and to represent the USA on the all-armed forces team in 2008.
Dr. Pawlish currently resides in Mt. Holly, NC with his loving wife, Christina, and their 9 children. When Dr. Pawlish isn’t going to extracurricular events for his children (which is almost always?), he loves playing softball, watching the Steelers, going to the beach and having a glass of wine.
Dr. Matthew Bryant graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Nutritional Science in 2009. Then, he obtained his doctorate from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2014.
His professional interests include medical eye exams for diabetic and glaucoma patients and contacts lens fittings for astigmatism or multi-focal patients.
In 2015, Dr Bryant relocated to Charlotte, NC where he now lives with his fiancée. His interests include traveling, golf, hiking and playing with his dog, Max.
Dr. Matthew Conlan attended West Virginia University studying Exercise Physiology. He worked in their Human Performance Lab providing clinical programs to improve physical health and well-being through customized, clinical exercise programs.
After graduating from West Virginia University, Matthew received his Doctor of Optometry from Arizona College of Optometry in 2015. He was an optometric intern at Southwest Eye Institute in El Paso, TX, OMNI Eye Services of Atlanta, GA, Providence VA Medical Center, RI, and Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, NC. He is bilingual and can do eye exams in Spanish.
Dr. Conlan is a Buffalo Bills fan and enjoys playing golf, basketball, working out and 3D printing. Go Mountaineers!
Dr. Pham is originally from Virginia Beach, VA. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University. He then completed optometry school at Nova Southeastern University in 2014. After graduation he moved to North Carolina with his wife, who he met in school and is also an optometrist.
In his spare time, Dr. Pham enjoys watching any and all sports as well as relaxing with his wife and dog.
Dr. Ruchita Shah is a therapeutic optometrist and a certified glaucoma specialist. She grew up in Austin, Texas and graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology. She received her doctorate degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry.
During optometry school, she was selected for the university’s Dry Eye Specialty Clinic, which provided her with extensive education and clinical skills to treat and manage dry eye disease.
Upon graduating, she practiced in Austin, Texas where she primarily specialized in fitting specialty contact lenses in addition to managing ocular disease. She specializes in fitting patients with keratoconus and other corneal dystrophies, post-corneal grafts, high astigmatism or large prescriptions.
Her professional interests include treating and managing dry eye, fitting specialty contact lenses, and managing ocular diseases such as glaucoma.
In 2019, Dr. Shah relocated to Charlotte with her husband. In her spare time, Dr. Shah enjoys spending time exploring new restaurants, traveling, and hiking with her husband.
