Accuvision Eye Care is pleased to announce that we will be reopening for routine care at all offices beginning 5/9/2020. All offices will be on reduced hours and patient flow, in order to comply with the governor’s orders, as well as the NC Board of Optometry’s recommendations.
In order to decrease the spread of COVID-19, we will continue to wear masks and use strict cleaning regimens provided by the CDC. Our doctors will use gloves and face shields as needed for added protection.
If you have a fever, chills, respiratory symptoms, nausea or vomiting within the past 2 weeks, we will need to reschedule your appointment until you have had no symptoms for 14 days. Temperatures may be taken at the time of the appointment to verify.
ACCORDING TO CDC RECOMMENDATION, WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND WEARING A HOMEMADE CLOTH MASK TO YOUR APPOINTMENT.
We also recommend coming to the appointment alone, as we are reducing the number of people in our waiting areas. Minors may bring one guardian or if assistance is needed you may bring one caregiver. You may be asked to complete paperwork or wait for your turn with the doctor in your vehicle. This is also to limit the number of people and time spent in the waiting areas. Thank you for your patience as we are trying to mitigate the spread of the virus, while taking care of our patients needs. We are all in this together.

Very friendly and professional service from the receptionist and doctor, and there was not much of a wait at all! What I liked most was how the optometrist was so informative and very down to earth. It made for an enjoyable exam!
